Hello, and welcome!It's always nice to see new faces dropping by for a visit. ^_^
Mmm.. so a little about myself:
I always have a hard time coming up with an one-word answer when people ask me, "where are you from?" In all honesty, China, Texas, and New York could all fulfill the answer to this question. Peculiar isn't it? Indeed as you may have guessed, I am Chinese, and spent the first few years of my life speaking only mandarin with no knowledge of English whatsoever. And what of Texas and New York? They currently are places that I find myself traveling back and forth from due to school and home. =) Wanna take a guess which is which?
Throughout my life, I've developed a deep passion for art, especially figure drawing. There are times when I take this passion very seriously, while other times I just doodle for sake of having fun ^^. You can check out some of my artwork in "my gallery".

I've come to realize that there are just so many wonderful, nice, unique, and talented people in this world. To point out just a few, there are the dark romantics, the lovable clowns, the sweet geeks, and the thrill-seeking adventurers. However, why is it that only a selected few can truly catch a person's attention and hold to his or her memory? I would often find myself remembering the face and expression of a complete stranger that I've passed by through a car window or on the sidewalk, but yet forget the name of the TA (teacher assistant) that I meet every other day in class. Maybe it's the walk, the scent, or even the minor fallacies they carry that we find alluring.
I have not yet found my "special someone", but when I do, perhaps I'll come that much closer to finding the answer to this paradox...
